The Kitchen-dining room
The house has a large (5.8x4.9m) kitchen/dining
room accessed from the lounge through an arch. The area is light
and airy with views through large windows to the front of the
house over the garden & pool to fields & vineyards with
another window which has a view to the side of the house and the
pool area. The original
fireplace has been adapted to accept the ceramic hob while still
retaining some of the features. There are exposed beams on the
ceiling.
The kitchen is new & fitted to modern standards with a ceramic
hob, double eye level oven, 1 1/2 sink & ample storage cupboards
both on the floor & walls. Lighting has been fitted under the
wall cupboards. Extra power points have been fitted to
accommodate portable appliances. There is a fitted dishwasher
adjacent to the sink.
The dining
area, with windows at the front of the house, takes advantage of
the views across the gardens, & easily accommodates 8/10 people
around the large table.
